hi all,
Plz help me with these questions.

1) What does DIGITS function does in DB2 ?
Plz give an eg.

2)Can we use ORDER BY clause without using where clause ?
or is this query valid:-> (Select S# from s order by city)

Hi

1) The DIGITS scalar function returns a character representation of an argument. You can read more about it in the fine manual, along with example.

2) Sure you can. Look at this example from the fine manual.
