I am very new to OPC Scheduling . So can anybody help me , how to schedule jobs in test environment from the root.The scenario is that there is no job in the schedule and u have to put new jobs and start it to execute and what is the coomand to start the batch.
Go to A->O->0->1. In the "OPC CONTROLLERS AND SERVER LU NAMES" window , give ur server name and controller info.
Then press PF3.
From the main menu(OPERATIONS PLANNING AND CONTROL) select option 5(MCP).
Now if the job is already added , go to option 2(LIST)
If not then option 1(ADD)
Now in the window "ADDING APPLICATIONS TO THE CURRENT PLAN"
give the Application Id - Ur job name and press enter.
In the window ADDING AN APPLICATION give the following :
1. Input arrival - date & time
2. Dead line - date & time
and then type op in the command and press enter.Now u have eneterd the window "MODIFYING OPERATIONS IN THE CURRENT PLAN", here give the necessary action to be performed.
In the status column give 'R' and press PF3 twice.This will submit the job.
Status 'C' means complete.'W' means waiting.
