Hi,
I have the following requirement. I have a jcl whose run duration is 15 seconds. I need to test some IMS checkpoint functionality which requires abending the code after say 6 seconds. Is there any way to do this?

You can purge your running job issuing "P" command at S.DA
If you are using any job schedular, that'll also having some command to purge the running job.

Other way, TIME Parameter can also be used. Check it out for complete reference.
