Hi friends.
Pls anyone explain ikjeft01 utility, and where we use this.i knw tht for executing cobol+db2 we use this, also any uses other than this.
can we use ikjeft01 for unload of db2 table data to files...
pls clarify my doubts frnds..
i will be thankful to all..

Hi vskumar,
IKJEFT01 is for executing TSO commands in a batch job.
The "PROFILE" and "RUN" command in your JCL for the DB2+COBOL program actually are TSO commands.
"RUN" is needed for loading and executing the specified program.
IKJEFT01 is also used to execute CLIST/REXX procedures in Batch.

Got it. It was my mistake as I could not differentiate colors. Probably color blindness
