about DSNTAIUL utility

Hi friends,

Pls anyone explain about dsntaiul utility which is used to unload data from db2 table to files. also give me other load/unload utilites available and there usage. Also pls provide me any links on this.

You probably meant DSNTIAUL. This is a sample program from IBM, written in Aassembler, to show you how to unload data. It is well documented in the fine manual.

Another option is to use the IBM's DB2 UNLOAD utility.

The only options I know out of IBM are File-Aid DB2 and BMC catalog manager.

Hi O,

thank u very much for ur reply.Also pls can u give some more on DSNTIAUL as u said it is a sample program from ibm to download table data, pls i want some more inform. on this and can u provide me the syntax for using this utility.

also as u said there are bmc and file-aid for db2 for unload, pls give me inform. or links for bmc. any utility to unload table data using bmc.

pls clarify my doubts

Did your read the manual in the link I supplied about DSNTIAUL ? It has all the information you need, including syntax.
