if you create BMS-Maps, cics deals with it as with any program,
you must link it to your cics-application-library (or any library in dfhrpl),
thus BMS-Maps are assemblies.

to activate a map in your program, use SEND MAP...

if this is not what you mean, get more specific,ok?
