Hi All,

Can anybody help me , how to view VSAM records (this particularly for cobol batch..) ie the dataset contains One Million records and that too don't have any tools like File-Aid etc..

Hi,
In 3.4 option before the vsam file type PRINT IDS(/) CHAR. Then press ENTER. Now u can view vsam records.

U CAN USE 3.2.V OPTION WHICH DIRECTLY TAKES U TO VSAM OPTION MENU IE DITTO OPTION MENU.

HERE U CAN VIEW UR VSAM FILES.

EVEN WITH OPTION 6 ALSO U CAN VEIW A VSAM FILE IE
