You don't "set" datasets, you allocate and cataloge them.

When you allocate a dataset, put 'po' in the DSORG field, and supply a number for the direcorory block.

IF U WANT TO ALLOCATE A PDS SPECIFY PO IN DSORG FIELD AND U DONT HAVE SET STATEMENT CONCEPT FOR ALLOCATING.

IF U DONT SPECIFY ANYTHING IN DSORG FIELD AND ALLOCATE A DATASET DEFAULT SETTING IE SEQUENTIAL FILE WILL BE CREATED SO EXPLICITY SPECIFY PDS AND THEN ALLOCATE.

Hai,
If u want to create a pds means u have to specify number of directory blocks in SPACE parameter and in DCB parameter specify DSORG=PO

Try with this........
