can anyone please tell me how to appear for the IMS DB certification?
what are the things that we should study for that?
and any good reference book/site for that? |

Satyajit, that's what i too look for. i need to have materials info. i've info regarding the materials and the available certifications for it. Please look in this forum if you need info regarding them.
In the mean time, if you get to know materials or references for the syllbus and any other info regarding the exams, kindly update this topic with them.

Have you got any update on the certification of IMS DB/DC?. Also where i can find resource for the same..i am new to IMS DB/DC...and need tutorials for the same...did anyone has it?.

Hi
Also, I am curious. I am gong to start new job with very few (10%) knowledge on IMS DB/DC. I have expert knowledge in cobol/db2/sql and good knowledge in CICS. Can I survive?. Will it be easier to pick up?.

No, I can't. The page says "The following documents describe the objectives for each test, and which Courses, Publications, and Conference Presentations or workshops are available for preparing for these tests".
I don't know much about this stuff, but my guess is that your next step is to contact your local IBM representative. |
