Intrested to take training for Mainframes in IBM

Respected sir,

I P.Ashwini accomplished MCA(2005) from Osmania University with an aggregate of 73.3%, I uniquely intrested to take training for Mainframes in IBM, being a fresher i am unable to get exact information about the training at IBM. Please let me know the exact procedure, at different branches of this institute for entry level students to get trained. I eagerly waiting for your response.

Hi,
Prefer CDAC Trivandrum. It is the best one for mainframe training and there u can get placement chance also.

Hi Ashwini,

Why are you interesting to do mainframes course.
Mainframe is completly different from other technologies.
Mainframe requirement is only in few companies.
like
IBM,SATYAM,TCS,CAPGEMINI,IGATE,WIPRO,CSC,KEANE,KANBAY,INFOSYS,H.P,HCL,COVANSYS.

These are the only companies recruite Mainframe Professionals.
That too not for freshers.ONLY EXPERIENCED PEOPLE.

So Try to change ur opinion.

There is lot of technologies
JAVA is really fine now.
Oracle Applications,

once if u come in to mainframe it is very tough to changeur technology.

Think once then you can take decision.

If you do your course in CDAC Trivandrum is fine.But getting job is very tough.
until unless if you get a job in CDAC Campus.
