Hi,
There are many Db2 Address spaces.
Can anyone explain me about what is DB2 address spaces and in what way it is used for Data Sharing.
Where can I find the details about this Address Spaces ?

Hi logaas,
For S9(i)V9(d) COMP-3 or S9(i)V9(d) PACKED-DECIMAL, equivalent of db2 data type is
DECIMAL(i d,d) or NUMERIC(i d,d)

There are five DB2 Address Spaces
- DSNMSTR
- DSNDBM1
- DSNIRLM
- DSNDDF
- DSNSPAS
For data sharing , Distributed Data Facility Address Space (ssidDIST):
i-e DSNDDF
It Supports distributed data access using Distributed Relational Database Architecture (DRDA)
Includes the following sub-components:
Data Communications Resource Manager (DCRM)
Distributed Transaction Manager (DTM)
Distributed Relational Data System Manager (DRDS)
Distributed Data Interchange Services (DDIS)
