hi,
i m passing some data thru parm parameter to cobol pgm.the data is not passed though i coded everything correctly.why?wat may b the correct reason?
this question was asked in an interview. |

Well, Its interesting.
If you have coded everyting correctly, then it should work. isn't it?
I am sorry but there may be very trivial reasons like
1. Is mainframe running?
2. Is your job being submitted?
3. Is your cobol program compiled?
4. Are you submitting the same job with same program in the step correctly?
Would like to know what can go wrong if the code is correct still it doesn't work. |

You are absolutely correct Parikshit. There are soooooooooooo many reasons.

hey here the reason is he was just cheking your confidence level there will not be any as you said but incase of mainframes down it happns as u said |
