I need to convert IBM mainframe text reports into documents that can be e-mailed (preferably txt or pdf) with proper spacing/page breaking etc.
Does anyone know how to do this?

I like Lionel B. Dyck's TXT2PDF utility. For more details and for download information, check here:

Also, there's always the SAS language and their SAS ODS for generating PDF output from a report:
