Hi all:
I have a GDG generation namely "SAMSU.FLAT.WARE25EX.FILE01.G0054V00"
Command I and S are not working as this GDG is on Tape.
How can I know the timestamp when it was created?
Waitng for a precious reply |

Hi Frens!
Can anyone please tell me how I can migrate a tape dataset to DASD?
FYI To know the GDG generation when that has been created issue the command "LISTCAT ENTRY (/) ALL"
It will show you the history of that dataset. |

I think using IEBGENER you can copy a tape file to DASD and then view it. |
