1)i have to declare pct values(transid and programname ) .where can i give that values.wht is the procedure (i will get that screen in real time) ?
2) i want to changes in my program according to the work request. how will i compile? procedure i want? how will u performing testing? |

#1) normally in all companies pct values will be given by the system programmer. not by application programmer.
#2) there will be some configuration management tool like changeman,endevor etc in all companies. You will stage pgms from prod to these libraries and make change. It will compile the pgm automatically.
Testing for batch pgms can be done using display stmts. Online/batch can be tested using tools like smart test/xpeditor |
