Difference Between IEWL & HEWL

Hi,
can anybody tell me Functionality difference between HEWL(link editor used in COBOL Compiler) with IEWL(Lked used in Db2 & CICS COB Compiler).

there is no difference between IEWL and HEWL.IEWL and HEWL both invoke the binder. HEWLKED invokes the old linkage
