Using NEW, OLD, SHR, MOD.

Hi all,

I have 10 datasets in my input. How many datasets will be present in the output with respect to each case where the disposition will be specified as new, old, mod and shr.

Hi Sripriya,

I assume you mean you defined 10 datasets in the JCL for your job.

The answer depends on how many steps are in the job, what step(s) the datasets were defined in and/or whether or not a step in the job abends, etc.

Can you be more specific.
