Hi,

I am new to CICS.So, have ew doubts regarding the MAPs in CICS.

In the CICS cobol program,we use Symbolic map in working storage section.
(as per my understanding, symbolic map is a copybook with Input and output field of the map and attribute variables).

Now when i see this Symbolic map (say TTP0001) in Endevor to see what all fields it has,
it is being shown like a load module (Type DGIPNL)

Please tell me what is DGIPNL type and where can i see the copybook of the map.

Thanks
Ruchita

Hi richie,

I couldn't get the exact information on DGIPNL type but I got some information about it.

Please check this link for more details

Hope this helps at least to some extent.
