If you are on the CICSZ1UT TEST SYSTEM the files would be from cluster C.On the other hand , if you access the screens from PCICS(PRODUCTION CICS ON CLUSTER A) then your files would be from CLUSTER A. |

well,
actually with the file name, u cannot say to which cluster the file belongs.
however, the cics files used on the test cics region are sure to be on cluster c(search the file using 3.4 option from main menu) on cluster C.
But, the same pds name can be used on cluster A also.
the files used on the production cics region are sure to be found on cluster A.
If a file name(PDS) is found on both cluster A and Cluster C(i.e is seen in both the cluster when u use 3.4 option), it means
the test cics region uses the file from cluster C and the production cics region uses the file from cluster A.
generally, the cluster A would be the production region
and cluster C the development/test region.
does it answer ur question?????/ |
