Statement in occur clause to retrive record for 25 times

hi

if we code a statement in occur clause to retrive record for 25 times but it occur 26,27 also means what happened, is it show any error? why it happened?

if a file contain 28 records, if we write the occur clause for 25 times, but it ocuurs 26,27,28 time also means, y it happened?

It'll show an error... If SSRANGE is on...

in case of NOSSRANGE (by default) ..there is a possibility you may never come to know about bad data or you may get an subscripting error or other.
