i have to create flat file DURING run time .THRU COBOL PROGRAM
LREC(274) BLKSIZE(27400)
WHEN I AM GIVING THIS PARAMETER JOB IS ABEDING INVALID DCB PARAMETER
CAN ANY ONE SUGEEST BLKSIZS FOR LREC(274) |

hi frnd,
Can u say me wat is ur abend code? i think the block size is right.. then i dont know what's the error. if u say the abend code then it will be easy for us to find!!!!!!!! |

HI ,
i think u got that prob bcz in FILE SECTION u may specified wrong record length ie not equal 274..chk that once bcz the file which u specified in cobol and jcl should have same DCB parameters. |
