Hello all,

I have more than 1 map within a single mapset & I wish to share some of the fields across the maps. Is it possible?

khamarutheen,

Thanks. But in that case can we redefine the positions wrt the second map? Could u show an eg. of the map definitions which share fields?

Hi,
It is possible to share fields between maps in one mapset but note only one map would be active at a time.. n i dont think it is possible to redefine it

Hello kanhaiya,

Thanks. I understand that only 1 map will be active at a time. I wanted to know if I could reposition the common field wrt the second map. Could u get me the map definitions & the field definitions that potrays this situation?
