How to use the input parameters of COBOL in JCL

Hi all,
I am wrting a COBOL program, which includes the ACCEPT statements, And whatever the parameters are comming from the operator, I want to use those param in the JCL. Is it possible? Please suggest me.

Like I want to accept a file and use down the line in the JCL.

ak_pagare,

Your question I find a little vague. Can you please give a little more detail? What are you excepting from the operator, and how would you like to use it in the JCL? In the same step or in subsequent steps? If you can, give an example of the JCL and where you would like the inputted parameter in the JCL.

so my frnd, can u plz tell me how the paramerters are coming to the operator.. it's only by the instream parameter na?? k. do one thing. using the file option write it in the file and use the DD in JCL to read it from the file. hope this is head ache.. and can u tell me my frnd what's ur requirement?
