Hi guys,
I just stumbled across the catalog table SYSSTATSFEEDBACK. According to IBM it should save some recommendation for the RUNSTATS utility. So I searched the IBM knowledge center and only found this entry
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEPEK_11.0.0/cattab/src/tpc/db2z_sysibmsysstatfeedbacktable.html
But my problem is to understand what to do with all that information. For example: REASON = DEFAULT. The description says
Quote: |
A predicate references a value that is probably a default value. |
So what? What kind of RUNSTATS do I have to run in order to support the optimizer with more helpful statistics?
Is there some kind of redbook that discusses the topic of SYSSTATSFEEDBACK? |

Thanks for the feedback.
As You can imagine, I googled before creating this topic. ;)
The 118 results that Google gives answer not the question of how to interpret the data in SYSSTATSFEEDBACK.
And I don't want do buy a new product that does the word for me... |
