Hi All,

There is a job that has to route the prints to a remote location.

It identifies the printer by using DEST=PrinterId in the JCL.

Is it possible to specify the format and other details; say portrait /landscape, font /size to be used.

Please suggest.

TIA

Which of these format parameters would you use for Portrait printing?
The key word must be 4-6 characters, so how would you spell it?

Thank you,
Sharon

Took a while to locate a reference manual.

For AFP printing, the PAGEDEF resource determines the orientation of the print data. The PAGEDEF reference can be found here in the PSF V3R4 for z/OS: User's Guide. Not knowing your exact printer model or paper size, it looks like you may want to try PAGEDEF=A06462 (64 LPP Portrait) or PAGEDEF=A08682 (86 LPP Portrait).

The FORMDEF resource determines paper source, and simplex/duplex printing styles. The FORMDEF reference can be found here in the PSF V3R4 for z/OS: User's Guide. Looks like you may want FORMDEF=A00010 (no duplex) or FORMDEF=A00011 (normal duplex).
