One of the shops I worked for started the discussion about DevOps for mainframes. I was looking into CA Brightside and eventually came to know about Zowe.

Has anyone had a chance to explore this product?
We eventually decided it was too early for DevOps on mainframe due to myriad of limitations and lack of stable solutions but IBM gave a presentation suggesting that it's possible to run Jenkins and Git on z/OS. |

| Did you search the forum before posting? I put ZOWE into the search and came up with 4 topics, including yours, one of which was specifacally about ZOWE. |

I had not but after your post, I did. Also I realized how true Jsorn rant was.. reminded me why I stopped contributing on the forum.
For the record, there is no meaningful discussion about actual use of this product. |

possibly because most of what I read said things along the lines of: "will be available", not "is available". |
