Using the CEDA command, I created a group (WEBAPP2), and defined 4 programs, 4 transactions, 4 DB2Entry and 4 DB2TRan.
Then, I used the CEDA expand group(WEBAPP2) to do installs for all components I defined. I used the CEMT command to verify everything was there and enabled. Everything worked fine, everything functioned as intended.
The CICS region where I defined everything was recycled over the weekend and everything I defined and installed and installed under WEBAPP2 was gone. Everything was in the CSD file and the WEBAPP2 group definition, but missing when I displayed components in CEMT.
I had to do the CEDA expand group(WEBAPP2) and install everything again. I've never had this happen before and I don't know why it happened now.
Any ideas? |

| A CICS region at (cold) start up loads the GRPLIST= SIT parameter resources. If you did not add your group to one of the lists in your GRPLIST, it would not get loaded at CICS (cold) start up. For warm starts, you would get the previous groups installed, but for cold starts the process is different. |

I forgot to tell the administrator to add my group to the list and it was a cold start. |
