Hi guys!
Have just cloned my existing zOS v2.2 system to another, changing a lot of dataset names, volumes and contents in the process, to create another "standalone" (e.g. non-Sysplex) LPAR.

I have followed a set of jobs to do this, creating SYSRES and extension volumes, plus obviously JES datasets, spool etc.

However, IPLing this seems to work until it starts the Master Scheduler address space.
At that point, it says it's attempting to dump (not good at any time!) but also can't find the dump datasets (which are SYS1.DUMPxx in the m/catalg and all seemingly defined correctly!)

Anybody else seen this or can offer some means of working out just where in the NIP/IPL processing code it's having a problem?

Log messages follow:

Please check MSTJCL00 member of parmlib, I suspect that a dataset is unavailable. Thanks.

Concerns to me include:
Code:
*ILR005E PLPA PAGE DATA SET FULL, OVERFLOWING TO COMMON DATA SET
and this obvious typo:
Code:
IXC255I UNABLE TO USE DATA SET
 SYS1.Z2S2.WLM.CDS02
 AS THE ALTERNATE FOR WLM:
DATA SET NOT FOUND - LOCATE RETURN CODE 08
I'd change your IEASYS00 member to have MSTRJCL=(W0,L) to list out the JCL and check it closely.
