INSUFFICIENT VIRTUAL STORAGE!!

Hi all,

I have used a sort to remove duplicates from an input file. While doing prep I am getting the below error:

WER153A INSUFFICIENT VIRTUAL STORAGE IN FINAL MERGE PHASE.

But the job runs good when submitted without any error.

I have tried region, core and maximum number of sort work files. ut still the problem exists.

Could anyone suggest me a solution!

I have resolved the error after looking into the forum. I used:

//$ORTPARM DD *
VSCORE=5M
VSCORET=30M
/*

Could anyone suggest me how we can calculate this values based on the volume of input file?
