I have three PDS with respective COBOL, CopyBook, JCL. I am individually zipping all of the four using PKZIP utility. Further I would like zip all of the zipped PDS into one ZIP on mainframe platform. Is it possible. If Yes how to do it.
OR
Can I confirm compress three PDS into single ZIP file using PKZIP on Mainframe platform.
Please support. |

PKZIP is a vendor product; if your site is licensed to use it then you have access to the documentation and vendor support. If you have not read the documentation, I recommend you start by finding it (possibly hard copy at your site, or on an internal web site, or by contacting the vendor to download it) and reading about what you want to do. Or you could contact the vendor and ask them for assistance with what you want to do. |

It is possible to zip zip files(zip'ception)
When you are zipping Cobol, or other text files you would be using TEXT mode zip and when you are zipping the 3 zip files, you need to zip them as binary. |
