Archiving preferences for syslogd

We are using syslogd in USS mounted to a zfs file. After enabling Policy Agent, the Pagent entries are filling up the log very quickly.

What are your preferred ways to archive the logs? We want to keep at least 3 months of logs. Do you like to use the ArchiveParms settings? Using a chron job to move the logs?

Also, if anyone know of best practice documentation for this, I would appreciate knowing the source.

We enabled SYSLOGD just yesterday and it writes a lot of logs. This topic would be pretty useful for us as well.
