How to convert the VBM file to VB or FB using SORT ?

I have VBM file and I want to use in some other Job to extracting some members. But as the file is in VBM format not able to do. Please suggest.

VBM to VB can be done by a simple IEBGENER copy. VB to FB can be done by the SORT VTOF feature and FIELDS=COPY. Both programs can get rid of the control char in column 1.

What program are you using that has a problem with VBM? What do you mean by "extracting some members"?
