Hi,

I have to make few changes to the FTP server via the //SYSFTPD DD.

Could you please let me know if I have to bounce FTP to have this take effect?
Or is there a VARY command to make FTP server read in the modified FTP.DATA again.

I was unable to find any notes about this on the manual. Please help.

I was supposed to make TCPIP changes as well, which had a VARY TCPIP command, so that went fine.

Regards,

I would stop and restart FTPD. The sample JCL indicates the search order, but it does not indicate if the search is done for each connection or only when FTPD is starting up.

Thanks Robert, I stopped FTPD and TCPIP automatically brought up the FTPD. So TCPIP saved some of my effort.

The changes to FTP.DATA were successful. Thank you.
