Even without the password being sold on (****.tor) my personal view is LinkedIn is an easy opportunity for social engineering + phishing.

It allows hackers to see first name, last name, organization name, use that and craft a personalized phishing email sent specifically to the target.
People sometimes click on booby trapped links on those emails, since the email is highly personalized for the individual.
Click on a booby trapped link and hacker easily gets into organization network.. then profit $$
