Hi

Anybody using Filezilla for transfer of files in/out of mainframe ? I am facing a problem while downloading the files from MF to PC. I am getting the files in txt form but with embedded characters. Earlier I was getting the files same as in MF (without those characters).

It was working fine till yesterday, but don't know what settings I changed causing this. Transfer type is ASCII.

Thanks
Amit

Different data than yesterday? Different dataset? FB vs VB. Lots of things. Can you paste an example in hex with a description of the source dataset?

Dataset is PS ,fixed block with 650 record length.
in MF it looks like
Code:

TEST0000000000YY0SYSTEM RECORD
APPL0000100A1   APP1                          N NNNYYUS    NN
APPL0000101A2   APP2                                 N NNNNNUS    NN

But while downloaded it looks like
 F cTEST:0YY0SYSTEM RECORDS#*0*cAPPL:0e100A1APP1hN NNNYYUSaNN` *cAPPL:0e101A2fAPP2aN :NaUSaNN` *

I got the answer to it. My mistake
The file I was creating was having pack on in profile. Corrected that and it sorted out.
