I have read in a book "Mainframe Refresher" that

"Value -2 in null indicator indicates that the column has been set to null as a result of data conversion issue".

Can any one please tell with example that when Null indicators value is set to -2 with example ?

There is a link at the top of this page as 'Portal'. Click that and go to home page and then at the left side bar on home page, there's another link for 'Beginners Forum'. Click that and post all your beginner's queries there.

Note that you will have also gotten SQLCODE +802 on the query. You should use DSNTIAR to get the message with all tokens.
