Hi,
How to read and write the JOb start and end time from saver.Is it possible by batch sdsf.

I presume that you are attempting to refer to $AVRS. If so, a job archived in $AVRS has been removed from the spool and can no longer be manipulated through SDSF or similar product. $AVRS provides other ways to manipulate archived sysouts; if you are licensed for the product, the manuals are free for the asking.
That said, there are better ways to get the start and end times of a job. An easy way is through your job scheduler, if your shop uses one; a hard way is from SMF. |

I suggest that you get your hands on a $AVRS manual. There is a program called $AVRDBRP that dumps the contents of the $AVRS data base. The report includes the start and end time of each job. |
