Hi,
Considering Transid - T1 is with program - p1
in p1 if xctl is used with program - p2 the current program will be terminated and the control will be transferred to the p2 with same trans-id T1.
I want to know that whether in PCT both the programs p1 and p2 will be having T1 as transaction ids . If so is it possible for single transid to have more than one program entry.
Clear me how the control is transferred to the p2 with in the same Transid-T1
While using Link command can we have different transid's or only one transid as in the case of Xctl .
Make me clear how the control is transferred to the program p2 in both the cases of Xctl and Link.
regards,

Please dont try to compare Trans id, Link & XCTL.
If a program is going to be executed only by link or xctl it does not require a trans id.
Only if a program requires a trans id, PCT entry needs to be made. If not only PPT entry would do |
