Since you apparently have a multi-byte code page, SBDATACONN will not do anything for you. Look at MBDATACONN and ENCODING=MBCS in the Communications Server IP User's Guide manual. One code page could be utf-16, but you need to research and find out which code page you want to use on the mainframe. (A Google search with z/OS Arabic code page returns 187,000 hits).
It probably won't require you to build a translation table unless you are using unusual character mappings. |

thanks Robert !
sorry for late to response
i try to do any things that you tell me but i dont have any growth in progress.
i think its better to simple this problem (step by step):
how can i transmit .txt file (that saved in windows unicode format and not utf-8 or utf-16) to ebcdic (mainframe) under ftp protocol?
thank you a lot |
