Someone told me that he met such a problem.
When he sort a file, the output item number is less than the input number.
Is it possible? Why?
Thanks.

Thanks for your attentions.
The problem has been solved. That guy told me that some records was filtered by one parameter.
Still thanks.

DFSORT has several control statements and parameters that can omit records - INCLUDE, OMIT, SUM, SKIPREC, STOPAFT, SAMPLE. E15 and E35 exits can also remove records.
