Hello,
This query is a li'l outside my comfort-zone; my apologies in case it reflects less analysis on my part, but honestly I was unsure where to look at.
We have recently modified the INDEXSPACE parameter in the global parms for a set of IAM files in our organization, post the change we are trying to compare the VSAM/IAM trade-offs for the INDEXSPACE being used currently for the newly defined files (both VSAM/IAM).
I am able to generate the report for the global-parms (for IAM) which does tell me if the parm is updated or not; and it is reflecting the update.
How do I check whether the new files are now picking the updated INDEXSPACE while being referred in the CICS ROR.
Thanks.
PS: Not a very supportive sys-support-group, I need to manage this somehow by myself. |

unfortunately a forum is not the right substitute for a lack of proper local support.
for what reason we should do for free and in our own time
the job that somebody in your organisation is being paid for ?  |

And I agree with you on this point.
My query was more on the lines - if I can just be guided as to where to look - a manual which would provide some hints/a dump or some place else, I'll pick it up from there.
If nothing can be worked out then I'll raise this query to business. |
