Dear Team,
Could you please help in resolving the issue with "FORMAT INTERNAL " option.
1.Data was unloaded using the DSNUTILB with option as
UNLOAD DATA FORMAT INTERNAL FROM TABLE SHEMA.TABLE
2.It created unload file in VB format(4 bytes) + 6 bytes extra in starting of every record.
3.I was trying to load the same file using the utility DSNUTILB with option as LOAD DATA INDDN(SYSREC) LOG NO
RESUME YES
FORMAT INTERNAL
INTO TABLE SHEMA.TABLE
getting the error as below..
DSNU334I .. DSNURWBF - INPUT FIELD 'RECORD HEADER LENGHT FOR FORMAT INTERNAL INVALID FOR 'SHEMA.TABLE', ERROR CODE '34'
My aim is to make sure file unloaded with option 'FORMAT INTERNAL' is giving optimal CPU usage
and the unloaded file can be restored back incase of any issues.I am facing issues in LOAD step
Checked the manual
www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM91639
But was asked to check the data and resubmit it again..
As per my understanding ,If the file unloaded is in DB2 internal format then with out further modification I should be able to load back.
Any help is much appreciated. |

Cut and paste from the sysout, using Code tags to maintain alignment. The message that you purport to have received is dubious. |

Ah, DB2 V11.
For one or records, the actual record length does not equal the record length specified in the header. Find and correct the discrepancies; Kolusu or Mr. Woodger may be able to advise you how to do this with your sort product, or you may need to write a programette . |
