hi folks,
i need to insert date at the subject of email, sending in jcl through smtp.
i googled but didn't found.
please help. |

You can use SORT in JCL to generate your subject of email with date/time stamp. |

How are you sending the email?. Post your JCL for sending the email
If you are using SMTP thru IEBGENER, you can just concatinate the dataset(with subject and date) just after your FROM and TO cards and before the email body/content. |

Can you not use the link provided to see how to get the date. This is only one of several ways to get the date.
Are you hoping (expecting) someone here to do the work for you?
