I am trying to stage some components from a personal PDS to the changeman package. But I get a 'Dataset open error' everytime I try. I tried moving the components to different 'standard' HLQs but I am not able to stage from them either. I checked the RACF access to the PDS and they have the same access as in other systems where I can stage components. Could anyone please help in this issue. I have tried most of the things mentioned in this forum.

| I agree that you may have RACF access to the mentioned development dataset. The question is do ChangeMan has RACF access to that dataset?. To stage a component from development, both yourself as well as ChangeMan need to have READ access to that particular dataset. |

Another possible reason might be that the baseline dataset of the library type you are trying to stage might not be either defined in ChangeMan application or if defined, might not be physically allocated.
When you get the error try to capture the LONG MESSAGE associated with the error by pressing PF1 key. You will get a detailed description there.. |
