Hello
I got an arbitrary mail from the various job portals asking for HP Connex mainframe experience. Though I am not eligible for it , I got curious as to what HP Connex mainframe is all about ? Is it mid-range system like say AS/400 ? How different is programming in this system compared to our normal z/OS IBM system ? |

Did try that but it was nit talking anything from an application programmer point of view. All I could find was marketing pitch for this platform for Business to switch over |

CONNEX can run in ZOS either as a DB2 or VSAM based application for managing payments from card providers such as VISA. Never heard of it running on HP. |
