Hi,
I am using Connect direct to pull a file from Unix to Mainframe using below NDM card. The Connect direct is working fine except for some special symbols getting converted.
¦ on Unix is getting converted to å on Mainframe
[ on Unix is getting converted to Ý on Mainframe
é on Unix is getting converted to ô on Mainframe
Ó on Unix is getting converted to ¿ on Mainframe
I tried checking whether these symbols are equivalent of each other in ACII / EBCDIC Table. But No, hence XLATE is also not helping.
Also, tried with DATATYPE=TEXT also, but doesn't help.
Can anyone help, as I need to retain the same symbols when file is brought to mainframe.
