Has anyone done Sharding on DB2 V10 lData Sharing enviroment

I was asked to look into Sharding on our DB2 Data Sharing environment. From my research I am not sure it will work. Has any one tried sharding and what were your results

Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge it's not been tried in this shop; I do not know why or why not.
