I'm using File Manager for CICS to edit a file by deleting some records. First I use a selection criteria to display candidate records for deletion. Then I delete the records individually, i.e. not delete a range. What I am seeing happen is that the record count displayed in the upper right hand corner is double debiting the count by the number of deleted records. For example if I have 100 records total, I do a selection criteria that will selet 30 of those records. If I then delete five individual recs I see the total count go from 100 not to 95 but to 90. I tried and cancelled the edit a few times in a row, always with same result. Then I tried deleting just one record and the count decreased by 2. However if I do a RECSTATS the numbers there look ok , i.e. as expected.
Is this a common issue? |
