Hi ,
Has anyone heard of the utility DBCKPT to perform I/O operations on flat files in a COBOL program? I am facing issues with this utility to write records in my output file. Is it an industry standard utility or a home grown one I am not sure. Plz help
Thanks, |

You may want to contact SoftBase about their DBCKPT utility. |

Hello,
Suggest you look at the load module and wee if there is any "text" visable. Most code delivered by vendors contain the Vendor Name as readable content.
There might aldo be some text messages the code might generate that can be read. |
