Hi DBA team,
We are going thru the V10 incompatibility list and could see most of the impacted DB2 objects are figured out with the job DSNTIJPM/A .Does that mean that DSNTIJPM/A reports(35 reports) will be having final list of impacted list of DB2 objects(ex.DBRMs bound to plan ,Explain tables list etc.) ? apart from that we could see some more incompatibilities as well "The following statements are no longer allowed in the body of a BEFORE trigger:
SELECT FROM DELETE
SELECT FROM INSERT
SELECT FROM MERGE
SELECT FROM UPDATE"
Similar to the above there were lots ,which were not covered as part of DSNTIJPM/A . Does it mean that it will not have impact or application team should take care ?I can list the DB2 objects by querying system catalogue tables ,but still wondering if my analysis is going in wrong direction . opening a forum "DB2 V10 upgrade" will be helpful for DB2 DBA s |
